He won during this year's award ceremony for his role in the drama "Shogun." This collaboration came to fruition because Asano is a genuine fan of DEVILOOF. He has mentioned that listening to their music helped him enhance his focus during his filming sessions. DEVILOOF vocalist Keisuke, who was, in turn, deeply inspired by Asano's performance in "Shogun," reached out to him about the collaboration.
