However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we were left with no choice but to cancel the entire schedule. At that time, postponement was not an option, and even now the virus is still causing too much chaos around the world in order for us to be able to start planning another tour. Therefore, we asked ourselves, what else can we as a band do under these circumstances? We concluded that if we cannot perform for our overseas fans in person, we want to at least deliver a DEVILOOF show that can be watched over and over again to everyone’s home. We are just as upset about being unable to do overseas shows as you guys are upset about not being able to see us. Producing a live DVD/Blu-ray is our way of combining the energy of both us and the fans and turning it into something new. In order to do this, we have decided to take on the challenge of creating a DVD/Blu-ray on a production level that would be difficult to fund by our own means alone. The DVD/Blu-ray will include a full DEVILOOF live performance. Since we are also planning to release a new album by the end of this year, we’ll make sure that the setlist we choose will be the best possible compilation of DEVILOOF songs ever!
